Ground Software Engineer Intern - Summer 2027

All interns will work directly alongside full-time engineers on real, engaging, and impactful projects, providing tangible value to Lunar Outpost products. This internship offers a truly end-to-end experience that promotes collaboration at every stage of autonomous robotic development. ## Qualifications: - Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field - Experience with NodeJS and React - Experience with Python - Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL - Understanding of Unit testing, Test-Driven Development, and mocking frameworks - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work methodically in a fast-paced, dynamic environment - Can effectively demonstrate communication and interpersonal skills, while also excelling in collaboration and teamwork in an interdisciplinary environment - Exhibits strong organizational and time management skills under pressure and in stressful situations - Fueled by a passion for space exploration and the boundless possibilities beyond our world ## Desired Qualifications: - Experience with AWS services (S3, dynamodb, lambda) - Previous experience working on mission control softwareEarly-June (June 7, 2027) to late August (August 20, 2027). Start and end dates are flexible with the intern's school schedule. This is an in-person internship; Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM in Golden, Colorado.
