Ground Software Engineering Internship (Spring or Summer 2027)

Apex manufactures satellite buses at scale through software, vertical integration, and manufacturing-focused hardware for applications including earth observation and communications. The Ground Software Engineering Intern will contribute to the design, development, and deployment of software that operates satellites while completing a scoped project and supporting the ground software stack.

What you'll do:

• Ground Software: Interns will work alongside our engineers as a fully integrated member of the team, contributing to the design, development, and deployment of the software that operates our satellites. Work can include owning a scoped project as well as taking on meaningful tickets across our ground software stack

What they're looking for:

• Graduating in the Fall of 2027 or in the Spring of 2028
• Currently pursuing a BS or MS degree in related field
• Strong understanding of software architecture
• Experience with Rust, C/C++ for backend, Vue or React for frontend is preferred
