GROWMARK Accounting Intern - GROWMARK FS, LLC - Milford, DE

GROWMARK FS, LLC is an agricultural cooperative serving customers across North America through seed, agronomy, energy, crop protection, precision agriculture, and related services. The Accounting Intern will gain hands-on accounting experience by assisting with reconciliations, budgeting, audit preparation, inventory counts, and financial report preparation and analysis while building relationships with FS locations and customers.

What you'll do:

• Hands on experience in accounting field
• Visit FS locations and customers building professional relationships
• Assist with account reconciliation and balancing, budget planning, audit preparation, and inventory counts
• Prepare and analyze financial reports
• Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply
• Performs all other duties as assigned

• Must be pursuing an accounting, finance, or related degree at a 4-year university with the status of at least a second semester junior or first semester senior in good academic standing at time the internship begins
• Demonstrates ability to work independently
• Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and have the ability to travel independently and overnight as needed
• Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK's policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position
• You are pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, or related field at a 4-year university
• You are a university student with one or two semesters of coursework remaining
• You are in good academic standing
