GROWMARK Accounting Intern - GROWMARK FS, LLC - Milford, DE

GROWMARK FS is an agricultural cooperative serving customers across multiple states through seed, agronomy, energy, crop protection, precision agriculture, and custom application services. The Accounting Intern supports general accounting functions, including account reconciliation, budget planning, audit preparation, inventory counts, and financial reporting, while building relationships with FS locations and customers.

What you'll do:

• Hands on experience in accounting field
• Visit FS locations and customers building professional relationships
• Assist with account reconciliation and balancing, budget planning, audit preparation, and inventory counts
• Prepare and analyze financial reports
• Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply
• Performs all other duties as assigned

• Must be pursuing an accounting, finance, or related degree at a 4-year university with the status of at least a second semester junior or first semester senior in good academic standing at time the internship begins
• Demonstrates ability to work independently
• Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and have the ability to travel independently and overnight as needed
• Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK's policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position
• You are pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, or related field at a 4-year university
• You are a university student with one or two semesters of coursework remaining
• You are in good academic standing
