Hardware Engineer I

Honeywell Aerospace Technologies is seeking a Hardware Engineer I to join their Electrical Hardware Design Team. The role involves the design, development, and testing of hardware components and systems, contributing to innovative hardware products that improve quality of life through advanced technology solutions.

What you'll do:

• Assist in the design and development of next-generation hardware systems including schematic capture and PCB layout
• Support hardware testing and validation activities to ensure product performance and reliability
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define hardware requirements and specifications
• Assist in product line change management and production support

What they're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
• 0-2 years of experience in hardware design and development or related internships/co-op experience
• Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements
• Basic knowledge of hardware design principles and methodologies
• Familiarity with schematic capture and PCB layout tools
• Understanding of hardware testing and validation processes
• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields
• Internship or co-op experience in hardware engineering roles
• Knowledge of digital and analog circuit design
• Experience with microcontroller or FPGA-based designs
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
