Hardware Engineering Intern III, Summer 2027 (Onsite)

BAE Systems is a defense, aerospace, and security company developing advanced electronics and mission-support solutions. The company is seeking a Hardware Engineering Intern III to support hardware development through testing, analysis, documentation, research, parts procurement, and collaboration with mechanical and electrical engineering teams.

What you'll do:

• Building - testing - analyzing F-16 and F-2 equipment results
• Running through and updating test procedures and confirming results
• Documenting parts and part lists
• Researching hardware
• Ordering parts
• Communicating with manufacturing
• Working with different teams such as mechanical and electrical engineering teams

What they're looking for:

• Transitioning into Junior or Senior year during the Summer of 2027
• Majoring in Electrical Engineering
• Someone who enjoys hands on work with electronics not just theoretical
• Experience with (or desire to learn): Phase Noise Analyzer (PNA), Spectrum Analyzer, RF Signal Generator, Power Meter, Oscilloscope, Power Supplies, etc
• Communication skills... they will be taking direction and doing work for Engineers in the group
• Detail oriented as they will be analyzing data and reviewing schematics
• A willingness to reach out to people, self-motivated
