Hardware Engineering Internship

Fervo Energy is developing next-generation geothermal power to deliver firm, carbon-free energy at scale. The Hardware Engineering Intern will support Powerblock hardware innovation, including heat exchangers and air-cooled condensers, through design analysis, vendor research, testing, and technical documentation.

What you'll do:

• Support heat exchanger and air-cooled condenser (ACC) innovation work
• Assist with design analysis, vendor research, or testing as needed
• Help document technical findings and design iterations

What they're looking for:

• Rising Junior, Senior, Master's/MBA candidate wrapping up within the next year— we're building a pipeline toward full-time offers
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including comfort presenting to stakeholders and leadership
• Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and adapt quickly to new challenges
• Interest in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Interest in heat transfer equipment and hardware design
