Job Overview

As a Health Services System Management Officer, you’ll have the opportunity to enhance your skills in one of the world’s largest health care organizations. You’ll provide managerial expertise and technical guidance in developing, implementing, and maintaining information systems and medical activities. You’ll advise and assist the medical commander or staff surgeon, as well as develop strategy, policy, and plans for the creation, implementation, operation, and evaluation of clinical/patient-oriented information systems. You’ll also integrate telecommunications, automation, visual information, and printing equipment to support medical treatment facilities and biomedical research laboratories, in addition to providing medical communication planning and management for Combat Casualty Care situations.

Requirements

  • Be a U.S. citizen by the time you commission as an Officer
