Highlights
Atrium Health Lake Norman is seeking a full‑time Hospitalist to join a growing team at our newly opened hospital (July 2025). This role is ideal for a physician who values a supportive environment, strong leadership, and practicing in one of the most desirable areas in the region.
Provide comprehensive inpatient care for adult patients
Manage an average starting census of 15–18 patients per MD
Handle approximately 3 admissions per shift
Collaborate closely with two dedicated APPs on each shift
Participate in every‑other‑weekend coverage (no nights required)
Work within an open ICU environment (no procedures required)
Maintain hospital privileges at Atrium Health Lake Norman
Deliver care aligned with CHG’s quality, safety, and patient‑experience standards
Stable 7 on / 7 off schedule
Collaborative team culture
Training and/or Experience Required
- Active or eligible North Carolina medical license
- MD/DO with Board Certification/Eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
