Housekeeper

Job Summary: The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of guest rooms and public areas in a hospitality establishment. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and enhancing their overall experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas according to established standards.
• Change bed linens, replace towels, and restock toiletries as needed.
• Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces to maintain a tidy appearance.
• Vacuum carpets and clean hard floor surfaces thoroughly.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and communicate needs to management.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation policies, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
• Assist with laundry services as needed, including washing, drying, and folding linens.
• Ensure guest requests are addressed efficiently and courteously.
• Collaborate with other housekeeping staff to uphold high cleanliness standards.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning services, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks, including lifting and moving items.
• Basic understanding of sanitation and safety guidelines.

• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
