HOUSEKEEPING DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure safety and sanitation policies and procedures are followed.
- Safely transport cart with cleaning supplies, amenities, and linens to assigned work area/guest rooms.
- Clean assigned rooms by priority and update room status on your device.
- Clean and sanitize toilets, showers/tubs, countertops, sink, and amenity trays.
- Replace bath, kitchen, and bed linens and make beds.
- Dust all furniture and fixtures.
- Sweep, vacuum, and mop all floors and balconies.
- Report necessary maintenance items.
- Complete daily and weekly checklists through device.
- Turn all found items into Housekeeping Management.
- Other duties assigned by the supervisor or General Manager.
LAUNDRY JOB OVERVIEW
Laundry Attendant should be dedicated, caring individuals that are dependable, have flexible schedules, and can work well with a diverse group of individuals. Laundry Attendants are responsible for maintaining resort linens to the property standards. Laundry Attendant should have excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities, and should have the ability to work cohesively as part of a team. Requires periods of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, pushing, and pulling. Must be able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds.
LAUNDRY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operates laundry and is responsible for the care of linen, supplies, and equipment.
- Wash, dry, fold and store all resort linens following company policies and procedures.
- Check linens daily for wear/stains that make them unsuitable for use, tracking rejected linens.
- Responsible for daily care of equipment, advising the Maintenance Manager promptly about repairs.
- Assist with picking up linen from rooms when necessary and assigned.
- Clean dryer lint screens daily and as needed.
- Daily and weekly cleaning such as sweeping and mopping, cleaning the exterior of machines, and general cleaning of laundry area.
- Maintain laundry carts and racks by cleaning bi-monthly.
- Keep linen room and cart neat, stocked, and organized.
- Report and surrender lost and found items to Supervisor
- Other duties assigned by the supervisor or General Manager.
