Environmental Services Assistant (Housekeeping)
Location: Oakmont Gardens
Wage: $21–$23/hr, depending on experience

Make a Difference Behind the Scenes
Oakmont Gardens is seeking a detail-oriented Housekeeping Associate to help ensure our community is clean, well-maintained, and welcoming. This position supports both housekeeping and laundry services, assists with resident transitions, and helps maintain our high standards for comfort and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily housekeeping and laundry schedules and coordinate updates with the Director
• Communicate with residents regarding services, updates, and schedule changes
• Manage scheduling for deep cleans, carpet and window cleaning
• Assist with apartment move-in/move-out procedures and inspections
• Process supply orders and code invoices for the Environmental Services department
• Cross-train in basic housekeeping and laundry tasks to provide hands-on support when needed
• Provide general support to the Environmental Services team as assigned

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in housekeeping, janitorial, or environmental services preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to effectively speak, understand, read, and write English at a level necessary to communicate with residents and perform the essential functions of the position
• Ability to multitask, work independently, and manage shifting priorities
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (e.g., cleaning, moving furniture)
