HR Apprentice Intern

Superior Ambulance Service is the largest independent emergency medical services provider in the Midwest, and they are seeking an HR Apprentice Intern. The apprentice will gain hands-on experience across multiple HR functions while supporting the HR team, focusing on talent acquisition, employee relations, and HR operations.

What you'll do:

• Serves as part-time clerical support to the HR department
• Coordinate spreadsheets
• Will follow through and complete all required paperwork and/or documentation
• Drafts memos, letters and other correspondence as requested
• Assist with maintaining the applicant tracking system
• Screen resumes and coordinate candidate interviews
• Participate in hiring events, career fairs, and recruitment initiatives
• Maintain and scan employee records in accordance with company policies and legal requirements
• Particiapte in HR projects focused on process improvement, employee engagement, and organizational development
• Assist with research and presentations related to HR best practices

What they're looking for:

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree program in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Organizational Development or a related field
• Strong interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise professionalism
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Excellent command of the English language and strong grammatical knowledge
