HR Part Time Intern / Co-Op

Johns Manville is a manufacturer of insulation, commercial roofing, glass fibers, and nonwovens. The company is seeking a part-time HR Intern/Co-op to gain hands-on experience in HR generalist duties, talent management, and recruiting while supporting employee engagement, development, training, HR analytics, records retention, and other HR projects.

What you'll do:

• Recommending and facilitating employee engagement activities
• Tracking employee recognition and suggesting improvements
• Tracking employee development activities
• Providing support in coordinating and tracking HR training sessions
• Analyzing HR data and metrics to provide insights to leadership
• Assisting with records retention
• Participating in HR projects
• Shadowing HR team members for exposure to HR processes, challenges and knowledge

What they're looking for:

• Must be currently enrolled as a student pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in human resources, business, or psychology
• Completed at least sophomore year of undergraduate course work and enrolled in classes for 2026
• Ability to work 10-15 hours per week
• Strong interest in HR and a desire to learn about various HR functions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented and highly organized
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a willingness to take on new challenges

• Previous HR-related coursework, internship or experience is a plus
