HR/Recruiting Intern

BBI Logistics provides transportation solutions nationwide. The HR/Recruiting Intern will gain practical experience in talent acquisition and human resources by learning full-cycle recruiting, developing candidate sourcing skills, reviewing applications, conducting screenings and interviews, and collaborating with recruiting leadership and fellow interns.

What you'll do:

• Learn the full cycle recruiting process from sourcing to assessing to offering a candidate
• Shadow and work alongside our recruiting team throughout the summer
• Develop sourcing skills by identifying and connecting with potential candidates, crafting and sending eye catching outreach messages to spark interest and build relationships
• Learn and use FMCSA/DOT requirements and rules for hiring
• Review candidate applications to assess qualifications and determine next steps in the hiring process based on role requirements and organizational needs
• Engage in phone screenings and in person interviews, progressing to conducting your own screenings as responsibilities grow
• Participate in weekly interview meetings with leadership, offering insights on each candidates' ability for the role
• Showcase your portfolio project, highlighting your accomplishments from your summer role, and present it effectively to leadership
• Collaborate with your fellow interns by participating in volunteer activities and company outings
