Job description

Join Safran USA's HRIS team for a 12-18 month internship offering hands-on experience across a broad Human Resources technology environment. This role provides exposure to HR systems, digital transformation initiatives, process improvement, reporting, end-user support, testing, training, and knowledge management.

Working under the guidance of the HRIS Manager and HRIS team, you will support the administration, continuous improvement and adoption of key HR platforms including SAP SuccessFactors (Selia), ADP and other connected HR technologies. You will gain visibility across multiple functional areas of Human Resources, including Recruiting, Onboarding, Core HR, Performance & Career, Learning, Compensation, Time Management, HR Reporting, etc.

Responsibilities may include:
• Supporting HRIS operational activities and user support requests across multiple HR systems
• Assisting with system testing, validation activities, enhancement projects and process improvements
• Creating and maintaining training materials, SOPs, job aids, knowledge articles, user guides and process documentation
• Supporting change management and communication initiatives related to HR systems and projects
• Participating in HR digital transformation projects, including system implementations, upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives
• Assisting with reporting, dashboard preparation, data analysis and data quality reviews
• Supporting the maintenance and organization of SharePoint sites and knowledge repositories
• Preparing presentations, project documentation, status updates and meeting materials
• Collaborating with HR stakeholders, managers, HR Centers of Expertise and external vendors when required
• Participating in project workshops, process mapping sessions and problem-solving activities
• Contributing to initiatives that improve employee experience, system adoption, efficiency and HR service delivery

This position offers a unique opportunity to develop practical experience in HR technology, project management, change management, business analysis and continuous improvement while working with experienced HRIS professionals in a global organization. The internship may include rare travel within DFW area depending on business needs.

Candidate skills & requirements

Education & Experience
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems, Management Information Systems (MIS), Human Resources, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Business Administration or a related field
• Interest in HR Technology, Human Resources, Digital Transformation, Business Systems or Process Improvement

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate issues and identify practical solutions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and assignments
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment
• Customer-focused mindset with a willingness to support HR users and stakeholders
• High level of professionalism, discretion and confidentiality when handling employee and HR information
• Ability to learn new systems, technologies and business processes quickly
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Teams

Preferred Qualifications
• Exposure to SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, ADP or other Human Capital Management (HCM) systems
• Experience with reporting, dashboards, Power BI, analytics or data visualization tools
• Exposure to SharePoint, process mapping or knowledge management activities
• Interest in change management, training, user adoption and continuous improvement methodologies
• Basic understanding of HR processes such as recruiting, onboarding, employee data management, learning, performance management, compensation or time management
