Human Resources Administrative Intern

The Ohio Department of Education and Workforce is hiring an intern for its Office of Human Resources. The role supports administrative projects involving position descriptions, personnel records, document archiving, HR reports, and other project support.

What you'll do:

• Update position description templates (e.g., department name, department ID, office name)
• Track updated position descriptions by office
• Save position descriptions with establish naming convention
• Scan and index personnel files in electronic personnel system (i.e., OnBase)
• Assist staff with boxing up files per records retention schedule
• Update templates and forms to department approved letterhead
• Use checklists to assist in archiving electronic documents on SharePoint sites
• Generate HR reports and compile stats in bi-weekly report
• Support HR senior analysts and managers by providing administrative support on various projects as needed

• Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program
