Duties

Qualifications

To qualify for the GS-5: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Maintaining records to ensure they are accurate and up to date; 2) Using automated systems to perform administrative support functions (i.e. reviewing information for discrepancies, maintain databases, and preparing reports, briefings, and correspondence); and 3) Utilizing standard office equipment (i.e., scanners, copiers, fax machines, and office automation systems) to perform a substantial range of office automation support functions. To qualify for the GS-4: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of general experience demonstrating progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position. Education

In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: GS-5: Successful completion of at least four full academic years of education above high school OR A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience GS-4: Successful completion of at least two full academic years of education above high school OR A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience A transcript must be submitted with your application if qualifying using education. This announcement uses the Defense Industrial Base, Major Range and Test Facilities direct hire authority to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to certain positions in the competitive service.
