HUMAN RESOURCES COODINATOR

REDCOM Laboratories, Inc. is hiring a Human Resources Coordinator to support the human resources and payroll departments. The role supports recruitment, employee records and initiatives, compliance, employee inquiries, reporting, and process improvements.

What you'll do:

• Perform various administrative duties essential to the operation of the Human Resources and payroll departments
• Provide support of recruitment, record retention, training records, compliance standards and other employee-centered initiatives
• Using a broad understanding of labor laws and compliance, document and maintain a regular cadence of compliance for NYS DOL, OFCCP, OSHA, and others as needed
• Assist with recruitment and other planned events, including on-site set up and tear-down
• Responsible for assisting with and responding to employee questions, and concerns
• Assist with generating reports, maintaining accurate data, and support of an HR annual calendar
• Other projects or duties as assigned
• Complete special projects and perform other duties as necessary

What they're looking for:

• Associate's degree or equivalent coursework required
• Basic understanding of human resource functions, reporting, and record keeping requirements
• Understand and behave with a high level of integrity and complete confidentiality at all times
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong computer skills, including ability to manipulate data from a spreadsheet into reports, and pivot tables
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws regarding employment
• Bachelor degree with human resource coursework
• Prior experience in an office-setting in human resources
• Basic knowledge of HRIS systems, LMS systems, and prior experience
