About this role
Advocare, LLC is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to provide administrative and operational HR support across its Home Office and Care Centers. The role coordinates onboarding, processes background checks and personnel actions, maintains employee records, responds to HR inquiries, and supports HR communications and training.
What you'll do:
- Coordinate onboarding for all new hires/rehires
- Process, review, and clear background checks in accordance with established procedures
- Process employee change requests, including salary changes, terminations, and other personnel actions
- Responsible for sending, receiving, organizing, and maintaining employee documentation and personnel files
- Completes section 2 of Form I-9, verifies I-9 documentation, and maintains I-9 files; tracks document expiration dates and follows up, as needed
- Maintain I-9 records in accordance with applicable retention requirements, including timely purging of records when appropriate
- Manage assigned responsibilities independently while seeking guidance or escalating issues as appropriate
- Coordinate HR onboarding activities for New Care Centers joining Advocare
- Complete employment verification requests accurately and timely
- Prepare or assist with correspondence and other HR communications as requested
- Assist with the maintenance of onboarding packages
- Perform HR customer service functions by answering employees’ requests and questions

- Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Experience with Paylocity or similar HRIS preferred
