Human Resources Coordinator

The Forest Preserve District of DuPage County is a government agency focused on conservation, teamwork, and public service. The Human Resources Coordinator supports recruitment, onboarding, compliance, employee inquiries, personnel records, HR research, process improvements, and HRIS data maintenance while serving as a key point of contact for applicants and employees.

What you'll do:

• Interacting with applicants and current employees
• Processing and maintaining personnel records
• Assisting with recruiting and research
• Maintaining HRIS data

What they're looking for:

• 1-3 years of related experience in an administrative role
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong organizational and critical thinking
• Strong computer skills in word processing, database management, spreadsheet development and publication software programs
• Ability to accurately maintain records of a confidential and personal nature
• Associate's Degree in human resources or related field preferred
• PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
