Human Resources Coordinator

Hope House, Inc. is a substance abuse treatment provider dedicated to helping people affected by Substance Abuse Disorder and restoring families. The Human Resources Coordinator will support employee onboarding, payroll, personnel records, benefits administration, HR reporting, and employee inquiries while maintaining confidentiality.

What you'll do:

• Coordinate and conduct new hire orientation sessions
• Process bi-weekly payroll, to include assisting and training managers on timekeeping
• Input personnel actions into ADP & Employee Navigator
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel files
• Process unemployment claims and provide required documentation
• Create ID badges for new hires and as needed
• Maintain the HR database and benefit system, to include processing personnel actions: new hires, transfers, benefits, and any other employment changes
• Maintain credentialing and per diem list and generate and distribute these and assist with other HR reports as needed
• Address general employee inquiries regarding HR policies, payroll, and benefits
• Assist with the Events Committee
• Other duties as assigned

What they're looking for:

• A high level of confidentiality is required, and the ability to handle sensitive HR related matters
• Associate's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field preferred
• Equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience may be considered
• Previous experience in human resources, payroll, benefits administration, or a related administrative role preferred
• Experience with HRIS, payroll and/or benefits systems preferred
