About this role

Lighthouse Behavioral Health Solutions (LBHS) offers a full continuum of care, including various treatment services. The Human Resources Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the HR department, focusing on benefits administration, onboarding coordination, and employee records management.

What you'll do:

  • Enter new employee information into the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) accurately and in a timely manner; maintain and update employee records, including personal information, job changes, compensation adjustments, and other employment-related data
  • Coordinate pre-employment processes, including background checks, drug screenings, employment verifications, employment eligibility and insurability requirements
  • Maintain compliance-related employee documentation, including driver insurance records, credentials, certifications, and required licenses
  • Organize, maintain, and audit electronic and physical personnel files for accuracy and compliance
  • Generate routine HR reports and assist with data tracking and analysis as requested
  • Assist with new hire onboarding activities, orientation scheduling, and completion of required onboarding documentation
  • Process employment verifications, unemployment claims, garnishments, and other employment-related requests in a timely manner
  • Respond to routine employee questions regarding HR policies, procedures, benefits, and available resources
  • Assist with benefits enrollment, qualifying life events, open enrollment activities, and employee benefit inquiries
  • Coordinate and track benefit-related documentation to ensure completeness and compliance
  • Support leave of absence administration by collecting documentation, tracking requests, and communicating with employees and managers
  • Support employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, wellness activities, and company events

What they're looking for:

  • Minimum high school diploma
  • Minimum of 2 years of administrative, human resources, payroll, benefits, or related experience
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
  • Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
  • Must pass BCI check, all Corporate Compliance checks, and employment drug screen
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field desired but not required
