About this role
The employer produces high-performance, cost-effective signal processing and optical telecommunications solutions for laboratory and industrial applications. The Human Resources Coordinator supports day-to-day HR operations, including onboarding, payroll, benefits, recruiting, employee engagement, compliance, employee relations, and HR process improvements.
What you'll do:
- Coordinate employee onboarding, offboarding, and training activities
- Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data
- Assist with bi-weekly payroll preparation, data review, and audits
- Coordinate benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, employee inquiries, and billing reconciliation
- Serve as a resource to employees regarding company policies, benefits, payroll, time-off programs, and other HR-related topics
- Maintain HR documentation to support compliance, reporting, and audit requirements
- Coordinate recruiting activities, including job postings, interview scheduling, and candidate communications
- Assist with cooperative education programs and other internship programs
- Support employee engagement activities and internal HR communications
- Assist the HR Manager with employee relations matters and other sensitive issues as needed
- Coordinate HR projects and process improvements

- • High school diploma or equivalent
- • Previous HR, administrative, recruiting, payroll or benefits experience
- • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment
- • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn HR systems
- • Dependable, professional, and eager to learn
- • U.S. Citizenship required
- • You are highly organized and can effectively manage multiple priorities
- • You enjoy helping employees and providing excellent internal customer service
