Human Resources Coordinator

North American Lighting Inc., a leading automotive exterior lighting manufacturer, is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to support its HR Department. The role involves administrative tasks such as managing employee records, processing payroll information, and overseeing job applications.

What you'll do:

• Enters and maintains new, current, and former employee records ensuring completion and accuracy of details such as employee contact information, job classification, pay rates, organizational structure, and other key details
• Processes, verifies, and corrects timekeeping information for weekly payroll processing in the Kronos time and attendance system
• Addresses routine employee questions on benefits, compensation, and HR policy and procedures
• Maintains accurate records of active job openings and received applications; manages internal and external job postings
• Performs administrative and recordkeeping tasks related to staffing changes, which may include layoffs, resignations, terminations, and extended leaves of absence
• Conducts or assists with record audits and mandatory reports, which may include I-9 audits, EEO-1 filings, payroll audits, and other compliance reviews

What they're looking for:

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline, plus 0 to 2 years of experience in a Human Resources position
• Associates Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline, plus 2 to 4 years of experience in a Human Resources position
• High School Diploma or GED, plus 4 to 6 years of experience in a Human Resources position
