About this role
Silverstone Living is a non-profit organization supporting Hunt Community, The Huntington at Nashua, At Home by Hunt and Webster at Rye. They are seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to support various HR functions including new hire paperwork, associate relations, and recruitment needs.
What you'll do:
- Prepare and administer New Hire Paperwork and Orientation Policies, Procedures, I-9 compliance
- Assist associates whenever possible with requests and/or information. Attempt to answer questions and/or address associate concerns in a timely manner. Approach ever interaction with a customer service approach
- Create and update Human Resources bulletin boards and other posting locations as needed; utilize online messaging including e-mail and voicefriend resources
- Maintain accurate and updated associate files
- Explain and assist with elements of various benefit programs to associates as required and assist with enrollment elections and claims processing
- Assist with associate relations events and recognition, as needed, e.g. Associate of the Quarter, Leader of the Quarter, Scholarship Awards, Birthday Cards and lists, Anniversary Cards and lists, celebration parties
- Assist with recruitment needs including screening applicants, utilize application tracking tool, coordinate pre-selection activities including physical, drug testing, reference check, TB testing tracking etc. to ensure compliance with all Company policies and procedures
- Respond to interviewed applicants in a timely manner and update ATS system
- Prepare correspondence and memos, flyers as needed
- Track referral bonus and anniversary bonus recipients
- Provide assistance to the administration of the payroll process
- Monitor and track performance appraisals, check-in’s and In Service’s
What they're looking for:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Written communication skills to be concise, well organized, complete, and clear
- Able to set priorities, plan, organize and strong attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines
- Command of the English language both written and verbal
- Proficient in Microsoft (Word, Excel etc)
- Ability to lift up to 25lbs, repetitive reaching, sitting and typing
- Ability to stand, walk and/or sit and continuously perform essential job functions for a full shift
- Bachelor's graduate preferred
- Senior Living, Hotel, Hospital environments preferred
