Human Resources Coordinator

Somat Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to support its human resources and office operations. The role assists with full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, HRIS and payroll updates, employment authorization reporting, employee engagement, and general office coordination.

What you'll do:

• Assist in facilitating the company's full-cycle hiring process including recruiting, sourcing, interviewing, and the coordination thereof, and onboarding
• Strategically manage candidate pool for each posted position
• Draft company-wide communications regarding benefits, employee incentives, etc
• Determine and attend university and local career networking events for potential candidates
• Passively and actively engage prospective candidates via various platforms
• Review, organize, and take action regarding potential candidates based upon information/resumes obtained from events
• Assist in ensuring that employee equipment functional and available for new and current employees
• Act as liaison between employee and benefit providers regarding coverage inquiries and disputes
• Assist in troubleshooting benefit enrollment with employees
• Lead onboarding process for all new hires – welcome, walk through equipment, provide information regarding company practices, and review all company systems
• Input all new and current employee information into HRIS system that the Company utilizes in a confidential manner
• Compile employee paperwork in employee folder and update

• * Associates Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or closely related field
• * Relevant work experience
• * Strong written and verbal communications skills
• * Demonstrates motivation to modify schedule as required to meet deadlines and/or company needs
• * Experience collaborating and maintaining relationships across offices
• * Legal authorization to work in the United States
• * Insurable driving record
