Human Resources Coordinator New York In-Person

Wonderway ABA Services is a healthcare company seeking a Human Resources Coordinator. This role supports onboarding, employee administration, compliance, and HR operations functions, ensuring new hires are successfully onboarded and employee records remain compliant.

What you'll do:

• Coordinate employee onboarding from offer acceptance through first day of employment
• Process background checks, employment verifications, and credential tracking
• Maintain employee records and HR documentation in company systems
• Assist with Paylocity onboarding, payroll administration, and employee account setup
• Coordinate creation of employee accounts including CentralReach, Telebroad, Microsoft systems, and other required platforms
• Monitor required trainings, certifications, and compliance deadlines
• Assist with employee benefits administration and eligibility tracking
• Respond to employee HR inquiries and direct concerns to appropriate leadership when needed
• Support recruitment efforts by coordinating interviews and onboarding logistics
• Maintain confidentiality of employee records and sensitive information
• Assist with HR reporting, audits, policy updates, and special projects
• Support employee engagement initiatives and staff recognition programs

What they're looking for:

• Minimum 1–2 years of HR, recruiting, onboarding, or administrative experience
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
• Knowledge of HR compliance and employment documentation preferred
• Experience with Paylocity, CentralReach, or healthcare environments preferred
