Human Resources Intern

Jordan Valley Health is a mission-driven organization dedicated to improving the health of individuals and families in underserved communities. The Human Resources Intern supports various HR functions and assists in the day-to-day operations of the HR department, providing opportunities to gain hands-on experience in HR practices.

What you'll do:

• Assist with coordinating and supporting recruitment activities, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and scheduling interviews
• Help facilitate onboarding processes for new hires, including preparing materials and assisting with orientation sessions
• Support training and development initiatives by helping organize sessions, preparing resources, and tracking participation
• Provide administrative support for day-to-day HR operations, including maintaining employee records, filing, and data entry
• Assist with internal communication efforts related to HR policies, benefits, and training opportunities
• Help respond to basic employee inquiries and direct more complex issues to the appropriate team member
• Participate in special HR projects as assigned, such as employee engagement efforts or compliance tracking
• Contribute to maintaining a positive, inclusive workplace culture by supporting team initiatives and activities
• Observe and support tasks related to organizational compliance and policy implementation
• Perform other duties as assigned to gain exposure to various areas of HR and enhance learning

What they're looking for:

• Pursuing a degree in Management, Business, Human Resources, communications, or a related field
• Previous office experience preferred
