About this role

CAMS provides project, asset management, commercial, and operational services to the energy industry. The Human Resources Intern will gain hands-on experience by supporting employee engagement, benefits administration, HR data analysis, and HR project management.

What you'll do:

  • Respond to employee inquiries via HR helpline calls and shared inbox emails
  • Support HR programs, including summer intern initiatives, employee engagement activities, and new hire orientation
  • Assist with benefits administration, including eligibility determination and implementation
  • Analyze HR data using HRIS databases, generate reports, and create charts to summarize findings
  • Contribute to HR projects in areas such as policy development, employee relations, and compensation
  • Support integration activities for recent acquisitions
  • Develop and deliver a comprehensive end-of-summer presentation to the CEO and leadership team, summarizing key projects, insights, and actionable recommendations based on internship work

What they're looking for:

  • **Education:** Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Communication, Management, or related field (graduation: Dec 2026 or May 2027)
  • **GPA:** Minimum 3.0
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including public speaking, for effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented with a customer-focused approach to deliver accurate, timely results
  • Proficient in Excel for data analysis and reporting
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive HR information
  • Adaptable and eager to learn new HR tools and processes
  • Qualified Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States
  • Qualified Applicants will not require employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future for employment in the United States
  • 3.5+ preferred
