About this role
CAMS provides project, asset management, commercial, and operational services to the energy industry. The Human Resources Intern will gain hands-on experience by supporting employee engagement, benefits administration, HR data analysis, and HR project management.
What you'll do:
- Respond to employee inquiries via HR helpline calls and shared inbox emails
- Support HR programs, including summer intern initiatives, employee engagement activities, and new hire orientation
- Assist with benefits administration, including eligibility determination and implementation
- Analyze HR data using HRIS databases, generate reports, and create charts to summarize findings
- Contribute to HR projects in areas such as policy development, employee relations, and compensation
- Support integration activities for recent acquisitions
- Develop and deliver a comprehensive end-of-summer presentation to the CEO and leadership team, summarizing key projects, insights, and actionable recommendations based on internship work
What they're looking for:
- **Education:** Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Communication, Management, or related field (graduation: Dec 2026 or May 2027)
- **GPA:** Minimum 3.0
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including public speaking, for effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders
- Detail-oriented with a customer-focused approach to deliver accurate, timely results
- Proficient in Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Self-motivated with excellent time management to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive HR information
- Adaptable and eager to learn new HR tools and processes
- Qualified Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States
- Qualified Applicants will not require employer sponsored work authorization now or in the future for employment in the United States
- 3.5+ preferred
