Human Resources Intern

House-Hasson Hardware Company is offering a Human Resources internship for students seeking practical exposure to workplace HR operations. The HR Intern will support employee records, recruiting, onboarding, compliance documentation, employee questions, and other HR projects.

What you'll do:

• Help organize and maintain employee records
• Support our hiring process by reviewing application reviews and participating in interviews
• Assist with onboarding by creating welcome packets and documentation
• Collect and verify new hire paperwork
• Track important compliance documents (including I-9s and related forms)
• Assist with employee questions and day-to-day HR needs
• Jump in on additional projects and tasks to gain well-rounded HR experience

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Clear and professional communication
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
• Comfort using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
• Students currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Management, or a related field
• Recent graduates continuing into a Master's program will also be considered
• HR-related coursework is a plus
• Primarily desk-based work with extended computer use
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 15 lbs
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred
