Human Resources Intern

Oriana House, Inc. is seeking a Human Resources Intern to join its Human Resources and Recruitment team. The intern will gain hands-on experience by assisting with recruitment, onboarding, employee records, interviews, data entry, and general HR administration while maintaining confidentiality.

What you'll do:

• Assist with employee file maintenance and organization
• Perform accurate data entry and update internal HR records and databases
• Copy, scan, organize, and maintain HR documents and materials
• Assist with scheduling and coordinating candidate interviews
• Participate in interviews and the recruitment process, as appropriate
• Conduct professional reference checks
• Support new-hire onboarding and pre-employment processes
• Assist with recruitment activities and candidate communication
• Support HR staff with special projects and administrative responsibilities
• Gain exposure to additional Human Resources functions based on interest and departmental needs

• Currently pursuing or recently completed coursework in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, or a related field preferred
