Human Resources Intern

Qualus is seeking a Human Resources Intern to support HRIS data accuracy, reporting, and job description management. The role also assists with employee screening, onboarding, provisioning, and compliance activities.

What you'll do:

• Pull reports and review employee data for accuracy and completeness in the HRIS system
• Participate in process improvement initiatives related to HR reporting
• Conduct audits of data fields to ensure information quality and consistency
• Support in organizing, updating, and maintaining job descriptions
• Identify roles missing job descriptions or needing updates
• Collaborate with HR team members to ensure data integrity and compliance
• Assist with drug testing administration and background checks for current and future employees
• Assist with new employee onboarding, provisioning, and compliance related activities

What they're looking for:

• Currently pursuing a bachelors or masters degree in Human Resources or a related field
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, charts)
• Familiarity with HRIS systems and reporting tools (e.g., UKG, SAP, Power BI)
• Ability to quickly pick up new systems or softwares
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
