Human Resources Intern

RIMOWA is a luxury retail organization looking to hire an enthusiastic and driven HR intern to assist their HR Department. The role focuses on gaining hands-on experience in various HR functions while supporting the team with administrative tasks and employee engagement activities.

What you'll do:

• Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing employee engagement activities and events, including creating related communications
• Support the full-cycle recruitment process: sourcing candidates, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and preparing/sending offer and rejection emails
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing materials and supporting orientation sessions
• Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
• Provide administrative support to the HR and Retail teams
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and other HR-related matters
• Prepare HR-related reports and update organizational charts as required
• Perform other duties as assigned by the HR Manager

What they're looking for:

• 1+ years of prior Human Resources classes or Internship experience
• BA or BS from an accredited university in progress
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent administrative and organizational skills
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with senior leadership
• Detail-oriented
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with utmost discretion and maintain confidentiality
• Experience with design software such as Canva or Photoshop
