Human Resources Intern

Sikich is a professional services firm offering consulting, technology, and compliance solutions. The Human Resources Intern will support HR operations by assisting with employee inquiries, onboarding, records management, HR transactions, reporting, documentation, and process improvement initiatives.

What you'll do:

• Assist with responding to and routing employee HR inquiries
• Support onboarding communications, documentation and task tracking
• Maintain employee records and update HR systems assigned
• Assist with routine HR transactions and employment changes
• Support data audits, reporting, file maintenance, and document management
• Help create and update process documentation and job aids
• Participate in HR projects and process improvement initiatives
• Provide general administrative support to HR

What they're looking for:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, psychology, or a related field
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and customer service skills
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Accuracy in data entry, recordkeeping, and document review
• Professional judgment, reliability, and willingness to learn
• Ability to work collaboratively and escalate questions appropriately
