Human Resources Intern

Swagelok is a global industrial fluid systems company that provides high-quality solutions for the safe and efficient movement of liquids and gases. The Human Resources Intern will gain hands-on experience through meaningful projects and collaborate with teams across HR departments, including Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development, HR Integrated Systems, Compensation, HR Operations, and Talent Management.

What you'll do:

• You will lead impactful projects focused on continuous improvement, enhancing quality, optimizing cost-saving measures, or advancing safety measures of our processes and/or products
• You will be challenged to apply and develop the technical and interpersonal skills needed to succeed for years beyond the internship experience
• You will further improve your problem-solving skills and be encouraged to collaborate with other Swagelok associates
• You will participate in a variety of activities over the summer including: networking, learning the business, Swagelok associate resource groups, facility tours, professional development, and volunteering in the community
• You will have direct engagement with executives and leading experts in our industry
• You will have an opportunity to participate in resume reviews and mock interviews to prepare you for future opportunities at Swagelok
• You will collaborate with a cross-functional team to explore and understand the interrelationships between various HR departments, including but not limited to Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development, HR Integrated Systems, Compensation, HR Operations, and Talent Management
• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards

What they're looking for:

• Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate program; minimum of a sophomore year in a Bachelor's degree program in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field
• A minimum GPA of 3.0
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Able to work 10-12 weeks consecutively during the summer
• Open to working in Solon, OH without relocation support
• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
• Prior internship experience is preferred
• Analytical Skills
• Microsoft Suite experience
• Project Management capability
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
