Human Resources Intern

The Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation (WARF) is where research meets real-world results. As an HR Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in various HR functions, including payroll, benefits administration, and enhancing HR software.

What you'll do:

• Assist with payroll and benefits administration
• Support annual benefits open enrollment
• Provide HR audits and compliance support
• Enhance and update Human Resources Management (HRM) software
• Organize and maintain digital records
• Support employee experience and HR projects

What they're looking for:

• A current student pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
• Discreet and trustworthy — able to maintain confidentiality
• Detailed and process oriented
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Independent, proactive, and eager to learn
• Available to work 10–12 hours/week during regular business hours (Mon–Fri, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)
• Experienced in or has completed coursework in HR (a big plus!)
• Preferably available onsite Tuesday–Thursday (we're located right along a bus route!)
