Human Resources Intern - Fall 2026

Royal Electric Company provides electrical design, construction, and service and is seeking a Human Resources Intern for its Sacramento office. The intern will support HR projects, reporting, records management, data collection, administrative activities, and training coordination while gaining practical professional experience.

What you'll do:

• Assist with HR projects and department initiatives
• Prepare reports, spreadsheets, presentations, and other HR materials
• Organize, maintain and audit HR files, records, and documentation
• Support record retention and document management activities
• Conduct research and compile information for HR programs and projects
• Assist with data collection, tracking, and reporting
• Provide administrative support to the HR team
• Assist with training coordination, recordkeeping, and ETP-related documentation as needed

What they're looking for:

• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Detail-oriented with the ability to handle confidential information
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field
• Must wear proper PPE while on jobsites
• Must comply with all safety standards and procedures
• Sit, stand, and walk during the duration of the workday
• Will lift, carry, push, pull, kneel, crouch, and reach
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times

• Experience with Canva is preferred
