Human Resources Intern (Summer 2027)

Nemacolin is a luxury hospitality organization offering a 12-week Human Resources internship focused on supporting the associate experience. The intern will gain hands-on experience in recruitment, engagement initiatives, event coordination, internal communications, learning and development, and HR operations.

What you'll do:

• An elevated candidate experience as you support recruitment initiatives and candidate screening while gaining insight into the hiring practices that help build exceptional hospitality teams
• A more connected associate experience through engagement initiatives that recognize contributions, strengthen relationships, and reflect the culture of a luxury resort
• Moments that matter as you help bring associate appreciation celebrations, team-building activities, holiday events, wellness initiatives, and other experiences to life from planning through execution
• Meaningful insight from associate feedback as you gather perspectives through surveys, conversations, engagement activities, and pre-shift meetings to help identify opportunities to strengthen workplace culture
• Creative ways to connect associates as you help develop engagement opportunities that reflect resort culture, service standards, and the diverse interests of Team Nemacolin
• Professional growth opportunities as you collaborate across departments and support learning and development initiatives that recognize achievement, encourage development, and strengthen workplace relationships
• Clearer connections through internal communications as you help maintain associate-facing channels, event calendars, digital communications, flyers, and other resources that keep associates informed and engaged
• Polished HR resources through presentations, reports, event materials, engagement tracking documents, and other tools that help move associate initiatives from concept to execution
• A structured 12-week experience alongside human resources, recruitment, communications, benefits, learning and development, and resort leadership
• Daily exposure to the pace and complexity of luxury hospitality and the ways people practices influence both the associate and guest experience
• Meaningful interaction with associates and candidates across diverse departments and backgrounds
• Hands-on experience supporting associate events from planning through execution, including logistics, scheduling, promotion, facilitation, setup, and breakdown

• High school diploma required
• Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a degree program in human resources, hospitality management, business administration, event management, or a related field
• Continuous authorization to work in the U.S. for the duration of the internship
• Strong interest in hospitality, associate experience, workplace culture, Human Resources, or a related discipline
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
