Human Resources Internship (Weekends)

Twenty-Six Defense Maritime designs, develops, tests, and produces complex electromechanical systems and sensors for maritime applications. The Human Resources Intern will support HR operations through administrative tasks, data maintenance, employee query support, policy distribution, and event organization while gaining hands-on experience in a non-union manufacturing and defense contracting environment.

What you'll do:

• Providing administrative support to the HR Team
• Entering and maintaining accurate data in multiple HR systems
• Organize, schedule, and execute events in support of employee
• Review exit surveys and schedule exit interviews

What they're looking for:

• • Active pursuit of a Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution and be able to provide documentation to confirm your degree progress or recent graduates within one year of successfully completing a bachelor's or master's program
• • Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits)
• • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
• • Must be 18 years of age or older
• • Must be a U.S. Citizen
• • Must be able to work on-site in DeLeon Springs, FL
• • Must be available to intern a minimum of 6hrs a day on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, talk, and communicate, use hands/finger, feel, and reach with arms. This position requires the ability to lift, bend or stoop as necessary up to 50lbs
• • Experience as a Staff Assistant or similar entry level HR role is a plus
• • Experience with Excel, managing email, Canva, and Microsoft Office products
