About this role
Kubota Manufacturing of America is a manufacturing company specializing in tractors, turf equipment, and utility vehicles. The Human Resources/Legal Summer College Intern will support HR and Legal teams with recruiting, employee relations, compliance, policy administration, records management, legal documentation, and special projects.
What you'll do:
- Assist with recruiting activities including candidate scheduling, interview coordination, and applicant tracking
- Support onboarding and orientation processes for new hires
- Maintain employee records and HR databases while ensuring confidentiality and accuracy
- Assist with employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and company events
- Help prepare reports, presentations, and communications for HR programs and projects
- Participate in HR audits, document management, and records retention activities
- Assist in reviewing and organizing HR policies, procedures, and employee communications
- Support compliance-related activities involving employment laws, company policies, and internal processes
- Help maintain HR documentation and ensure records are filed appropriately
- Research current HR trends and best practices to support continuous improvement initiatives
- Assist with legal document organization, contract administration, and records management
- Support the review and tracking of agreements, vendor contracts, and legal correspondence
What they're looking for:
- * Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Pre-Law, Legal Studies, Political Science, Organizational Leadership, or a related field
- * Strong verbal and written communication skills
- * Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- * Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- * Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and take initiative
- * Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
- * Must be actively pursuing a related degree throughout the internship period
- * Expected graduation date must be **December 2027 or later.**
- * Candidates who have already graduated or who will graduate before December 2027 are not eligible
- * Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Legal Studies, Pre-Law, Political Science, Organizational Leadership, or a related field
