Human Resources - paid intern

People Incorporated Mental Health Services is a nonprofit mental health provider in Minnesota. The Human Resources Intern will gain practical experience across HR functions, including job description management, compensation research, HCM data integrity, policy support, and employee onboarding.

What you'll do:

• Assist with job description revisions and updates to ensure accuracy and consistency in content and formatting. Evaluate descriptions within job families to identify potential overlaps or gaps in qualifications or job duties
• Support compensation and market-pricing projects by researching industry benchmarks, gathering data, and assisting with analysis and recommendations
• Assist with data integrity projects within the Human Capital Management (HCM) system
• Provide administrative and project support for the development, review, revision, and maintenance of Human Resources policies, procedures, handbooks, and standard operating procedures
• Assist with new hire orientation and employee onboarding tasks during bi-weekly New Hire Orientation sessions

What they're looking for:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Currently enrolled and in good standing in a post-secondary degree program in Human Resources or closely related field
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship
