I-26134 - Accounting Part-Time Intern

Hilcorp Energy LLC is seeking a part-time Accounting Intern to support the Joint Interest Billing (JIB) Accounting team in Downtown Houston. The role assists with journal entries, well payout calculations, non-operated JIB processing, overflow work, and special projects while maintaining confidentiality and supporting company values.

What you'll do:

• Helps to prepare manual journal entries for recurring expenses incurred by team
• Helps to calculate payouts for wells
• Helps to analyze and process non-operated JIBs
• Works with JIB accountants on special projects
• Handle special projects, as assigned
• Proficient in anticipating matters at hand and initiating action without requiring direction or supervision
• Adheres to the company’s values – integrity, ownership, urgency, alignment and innovation
• Supports company vision and mission
• Assists with overflow work
• Maintains employee confidence and protects operations, by keeping information confidential
• Other duties as assigned by management
