IAE Software Engineering Internship - Fall 2026

The University of South Florida (USF) is seeking a Software Engineering Intern for Fall 2026 to support specialized programs under the direction of Accenture Federal Services. The intern will contribute to meaningful data science and program management initiatives that enhance operational decision-making and resource allocation.

What you'll do:

• Design, prototype, and test cybersecurity-focused software systems
• Designs, builds, deploys, and maintains applications and infrastructure inside the AWS Cloud
• Collaborate with AFS engineers on developing tools that increase operational efficiency and software readiness
• Document processes, technical findings, and standard operating procedures
• Contribute to program management tasks such as tracking workflow progress, preparing briefings, and organizing project artifacts

What they're looking for:

• Must be a U.S. citizen
• Must be eligible to obtain a U.S. security clearance due to Department of Defense program requirements
• Must be actively pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a similar technical discipline
• Junior or Senior standing
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Good planning and organizational skills
• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
• Must be willing and able to work in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment
• Experience with Java, Python, and Javascript programming languages
