Essential Functions Coordinates equipment removal and installation for all imaging services equipment and capital projects. Assists the Imaging Leadership team on capital projects by acting as a liaison for imaging services by entering formal requests, attending construction/project meetings, and giving leadership updates on project progress. Maintains accurate equipment inventory and monitors scheduled and unscheduled downtime. Maintains accurate imaging scanner/camera equipment and minor equipment to include but not limited to injectors, monitors, Geiger counters, and dose calibrators. Works collaboratively with the Imaging Medical Director and Imaging leaders to provide updates on equipment/minor equipment and supply needs. Provides quotes for equipment and office supplies, and places orders. Schedules all preventative maintenance for imaging equipment in accordance with appropriate guidelines and vendor recommendations, maintains the preventative maintenance records for inspections/evaluations with Radiation Safety and the Bureau of Radiation Control, and collaborates with department leadership to inform them of the scheduled equipment appointments. Coordinates all unexpected service needs for imaging equipment and ensures leadership is informed of updates, downtimes, and progress through reporting and communication efforts by tracking IT, engineering, and equipment purchase requests. Maintains and monitors all music subscriptions and maintains updated equipment to meet the requirements to utilize music subscriptions. Manages all Imaging/IR tube records and inspections. Facilitates team member radiology badge distribution, pick up, mailing, and reporting. Serves as a resource for the Radiation Safety Officer. Coordinates equipment evaluations with Radiation Safety and the Bureau of Radiation Control. Works collaboratively with departments and vendors to identify opportunities for process and service improvement. Assists in ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, including but not limited to OSHA, The Joint Commission, FDA, NRC, EPA, and the Florida Department of Health. Adheres to Orlando Health’s mission statement and strategic imperatives. Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards. Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures, department guidelines, and education requirements. Other Related Functions Works with department supervisors to resolve quality deviations related to equipment. Supports the department in maintaining lead apron tracking, logs, and testing Attends all meetings as requested by Imaging Leadership. Qualifications Education/Training Associate’s degree in a health-related field. Graduate of an accredited health care program. Licensure/Certification Must possess and maintain current: * American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or * American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), or * American Registry of Radiology Technologists in Nuclear Medicine (ARRT) (N), or * Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB), and * State of Florida license or ARDMS certification required dependent department.
