Industrial Engineering & Operations Analytics Internship

Do it Best is a member-owned home improvement cooperative with a logistics operations team. The Industrial Engineering & Operations Analytics Intern will support the development of a Logistics Performance Operating System by creating reports and tools, manipulating data, and providing training and technical support for distribution center operations.

What you'll do:

• Create reports and tools on-demand
• Manipulate data from multiple sources
• Support DC operations providing training and technical support of reporting tools

What they're looking for:

• * Current college student
• * Pursuing a degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics,  Computer Science, or related field
• * Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• * Ability to manipulate and analyze data
• * Design User Interfaces to simplify data analysis for lay users
• * Ability to complete basic statistical analysis (descriptive and inferential)
• * Self-starter
• * Ability to work independently
• * Familiar with statistical analysis and troubleshooting
• ***This is a temporary position (approximately 10-12 weeks) and is paid on an hourly basis. No relocation is offered, candidates must be local to the Fort Wayne, Indiana area for the Summer 2026 timeframe. The Intern may also be able to use this opportunity towards university/college credit.***
• * Experience within data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Access and Power BI
