About this role
Nature of Work
The ISM 1 provides leadership and direct supervision over a multidisciplinary support unit comprising Project Directors, Project Managers, Business Analysts, and Help Desk personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
Application Lifecycle Management: Manage the development, maintenance, modification, enhancement, and end-user support for statewide IT systems, ensuring alignment with project standards and organizational goals.
Team & Workload Supervision: Direct daily operations of the Support Unit; review and assign incoming Service Now tickets to appropriate staff to ensure timely resolution.
Documentation & System Requirements: Review System Requirements Specifications (SRS) and Functional Design Specifications (FDS) related to the PATH system within the designated functional domain.
Testing & Quality Assurance: Oversee and coordinate comprehensive system testing efforts with staff upon request to ensure system stability and performance.
Inter-Agency & External Collaboration: Lead internal staff meetings, participate in cross-functional governance committees, and coordinate efforts with external vendors and stakeholder entities to foster a cohesive environment.
Training & Reporting: Direct the creation and ongoing maintenance of user training documentation, management information data, and operational reporting.
Minimum Qualifications
Training: Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university.
Experience: Three years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience in computer programming, office automation planning, purchasing and implementation of hardware and software, teleprocessing, system analysis, or supervision of computer operations.
