Information Technology and Cybersecurity Intern

Cortina Solutions is a government contractor providing technical professional services and is seeking an Information Technology and Cybersecurity Intern. The intern will be responsible for managing systems and documentation to ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards while collaborating with cybersecurity specialists.

What you'll do:

• Managing company systems and documentation library for establishing and maintaining compliance to industry cybersecurity standards including CMMC, ISO27001, and NIST
• Working with the Information System Security Officer (ISSO) and other cybersecurity specialists at Cortina

What they're looking for:

• Must be a current undergraduate or graduate student in a relevant field
• General computer systems competency
• Experienced with Microsoft Office products
• Basic working knowledge of cybersecurity, including firewalls, vpns, and network segmentation
• Good communications and problem solving skills
• Self-starter and independent thinker
• High level of ownership and professionalism
