About this role
Schreiber Foods is seeking a highly motivated Innovation Intern to support its innovation team. The intern will assist with innovation sprints, research, rapid experimentation, workshops, stakeholder feedback, metric tracking, and communicating recommendations and outcomes to business stakeholders.
What you'll do:
- Support the innovation programs manager in all phases of planning and executing the innovation sprint process
- Support the innovation team with tracking of metrics
- Assist with deploying innovation tools and framework throughout the organization, including broad communication
- Leverage digital and AI-enabled tools to support research, idea generation, knowledge management, and communication activities
- Assist with conducting research to gather insights into user needs, market trends, and emerging technologies
- Synthesize research, interview findings, and sprint outputs into clear insights and recommendations for business stakeholders
- Support the planning and facilitation of innovation workshops, design sprints, and collaborative working sessions
- Gather feedback from stakeholders through user testing, surveys, and interviews
- Create presentations and reports to communicate the results of innovation sprints to stakeholders
- Assist with the implementation of successful sprint outcomes
- Perform other related duties as assigned
What they're looking for:
- Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in a related field (e.g., business, marketing, engineering, design, etc.)
- Must have at least 2 semesters remaining in school upon start date (May 2028 grads or later)
- Ability to work 15-20 hours/week during school year and 40 hours/week during the summer
- Creative, enthusiastic, eager to learn
- Demonstrates curiosity, initiative, and the ability to turn ambiguous problems into actionable next steps
- Able to identify patterns across information sources and communicate a clear point of view supported by evidence
- Interact with cross-functional partners across R&D, Operations, Commercial, HR, and Strategy teams to support innovation initiatives
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent research and writing skills
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
