## Position summary Sikich’s Regulatory, Quality & Compliance (RQC) practice helps organizations solve complex regulatory, quality, and operational challenges. The practice partners with clients across life sciences, insurance, and other highly regulated industries to improve compliance, optimize processes, implement technology solutions, and drive innovation through data, automation, and emerging AI capabilities. Sikich is building a next-generation consulting model that combines domain expertise, data, AI, and intelligent workflows to improve decision-making, accelerate delivery, and create scalable client solutions. The intern will work directly with consulting, operations, and innovation leaders to develop intelligent solutions using Microsoft Copilot, Claude, agentic workflows, automation platforms, and enterprise data. ## What will you do in this role? As an AI Solutions Intern, you will help identify, prototype, and build practical AI-enabled solutions across RQC. - Design and build AI agents, multi-agent workflows, intelligent assistants, and automations using Microsoft Power Automate and related workflow platforms. - Develop proof-of-concepts using Microsoft Copilot, Claude, LLMs, and emerging AI technologies. - Create integrations between enterprise systems, knowledge repositories, and AI tools. - Develop prompt frameworks, reusable agent patterns, and workflow accelerators. - Support the creation of an Intelligent Workbench that enables consultants to access knowledge, automate tasks, and make data-driven decisions. - Evaluate AI solutions for governance, security, compliance, trustworthiness, and business value. - Collaborate with consultants and practice leaders to translate business challenges into AI-enabled solutions. - Document findings, recommendations, and implementation roadmaps. ## What do you need to succeed in this role? Required qualifications - Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Analytics, Machine Learning, Software Engineering, or a related technical field. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Experience building software projects through coursework, internships, research, or personal projects. - Familiarity with Python and data analysis techniques. - Experience using GitHub and collaborative development workflows. - Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.Preferred qualifications - Experience building AI agents, copilots, or agentic workflows. - Knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs) and prompt engineering. - Experience with Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI Services, Claude, OpenAI APIs, or frameworks such as LangChain, Semantic Kernel, CrewAI, and AutoGen. - Experience with Microsoft Power Automate or workflow automation tools. - Knowledge of RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architecture. - Experience integrating APIs, databases, and enterprise systems. - Exposure to M365, SharePoint, Teams, or enterprise knowledge management platforms. - Familiarity with responsible AI, governance, security, and compliance concepts.Additional skills and experience - Values driven: Embody and model absolute integrity and servant leadership, with a bias for action and continuous innovation. - Uncompromising problem solver: See opportunities in business challenges and develop, articulate, and implement solutions. - Collaboration: Build relationships across all levels of the organization and business units. - Instills trust: Follow through on commitments consistently and credibly, without ego. - Impact & influence: Focus on making a difference and gain support for ideas, proposals, and solutions; get others to act, with or without formal authority, to advance initiatives and objectives.In compliance with applicable pay transparency laws, the base compensation range is $29–$30 per hour. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary; the final offer may vary based on factors including experience and geographic location.
